The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, in collaboration with Catholic Medical Center and Elliot Health System, provides the greater Manchester, NH region with 24/7 response to mental health crises. A team of emergency mental health counselors, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and other medical personnel are available around-the-clock to assess individuals experiencing a mental health crisis at the Emergency Department at either Catholic Medical Center or Elliot Hospital.
The approach focuses on suicide prevention, as needed, and engaging the client in a crisis management plan while they are transitioned to appropriate follow-up care. Some of the assessments on weekdays and most follow-up care, takes place at the MHCGM offices on 401 Cypress Street in Manchester, NH.
