Bedford Counseling Associates has been serving the mental health needs of New Hampshire residents for more than 30 years. We have developed a tenured and reputable image in the community, and our practice is well-known throughout the medical field. We boast a large well-trained professional staff, and offer flexible office hours which include evenings and weekends.
Our practice caters to all age groups from pre-school age to seniors. In addition, we also work with couples, groups and families. Our medical staff is available to prescribe and monitor medications should the need arise. Because of our affiliation with The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, we can easily transition clients to other programs or services within our network when necessary.

Bedford Counseling Associates (BCA) offers private, individualized, short-term counseling services to people from throughout northern New England. We offer an experienced, highly qualified staff of more than 30 full and part-time mental health professionals who offer a wide range of specialty services to help people of all ages (children, teens, adults & seniors) successfully address issues affecting ones mental wellness.
Our focus is on the timely resolution of problems and the acquisition of new coping skills. When there is a need to reduce symptoms to increase comfort and enhance the effectiveness of counseling services, our medical staff can prescribe appropriate psychiatric medications and monitor their use. We also offer Medication Assisted Recovery Services (MAR) in treating substance use disorders.

Insurance:
Bedford Counseling Associates accepts insurance from all major carriers. Co-pays are expected at time of appointment. We do offer a reduced rate based on individual criteria, for fees not covered by insurance. Bedford Counseling Associates accepts cash, checking or credit (Mastercard, Visa and Discover) for services rendered.
Our staff will work with you to determine your insurance benefits and will complete and submit the paperwork to your insurance carrier, including Medicare or Medicaid.
