Description:
This 1-day training is for professionals who have received MI training and want to sharpen and improve their use of MI. This is an opportunity for higher level of immersion in skill practice and development. There is some exposure to the Motivational Interviewing Treatment Integrity (MITI) scale to understand the mechanics of MI and how to develop proficiency. The training content is based on the “Eight Tasks in Learning Motivational Interviewing” developed by William Miller and Teresa Moyers.

- The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Northeast MultiState Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The participant will be awarded 6.0 contact hours for attending this program.
- This activity has been approved for 6.0 Category I Continuing Education Credits for relicensure by the NH-NASW – Workshop #2695.
