How do you avoid an impasse when working with someone who doesn’t recognize that they are ill? Join us to learn Xavier Amador’s groundbreaking communication strategy called “LEAP” which can be utilized with patients who don’t recognize their illness, or even when communicating with others who hold very different beliefs where an impasse is likely. All registrants will receive a personal copy of TWO books by Xavier Amador including in tuition–“I’m not Sick, I Don’t Need Help” and “I’m Right, You’re Wrong, Now What?”
This program provides 5.0 Category A Continuing Education Credits by the National Association of Social Workers, NH Chapter. CE#4249. This program provides 5.0 nursing continuing professional development hours through the ANCC.
The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester’s Training Department is supported by the US Department of Labor. A total of $408,000.00 (29%) is financed with federal grant funds and $994,644.60 (71%) is funded by other sources.
