What is “trauma-informed care?”  How do the concepts of trauma-informed care apply to military-connected individuals?  This course describes trauma, the prevalence of trauma, the elements of a trauma-informed service delivery system, and trauma-informed services for military-involved individuals.  The course will also discuss moral injury as a separate, but confounding challenge in trauma-informed care.  This program is approved for 2.0 Category A Continuing Education Credits by the National Association of Social Workers, NH Chapter.  CE# 4331. This program provides 2.0 contact hours for nurses through the ANCC. Learners must have a working camera and microphone to participate in this training and be eligible for CEs.

The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester’s Training Department is supported by the US Department of Labor. A total of $408,000.00 (29%) is financed with federal grant funds and $994,644.60 (71%) is funded by other sources.
