The Center welcomes new Medical Staff
The Mental Health Center is pleased to announce the addition of new medical personnel, which will serve and support programs throughout the agency. Since late 2017, the following staff members have joined our team!
Victoria Felkl, MD
Victoria recently completed her Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. She completed her Residency in General Psychiatry at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Felkl will serve as Psychiatrist with our Child and Adolescent Department.
Claire Tenny, MD
Dr. Tenny was formerly a Chief at the VA Medical Center. In addition to her administrative duties, she worked as a clinician in their substance use disorders clinic to provide medication-assisted treatment for patients with Opioid Use Disorder. Prior to that, she was the Director of Primary Mental Health Care at the Newington Campus of the VA in CT. This was a newly created position which also served as the portal of entry to mental health treatment for Veterans at the facility. She also served as the primary interface with the Urgent Care Department and worked closely with the SA program.
Dr. Tenny will serve as Psychiatrist at our North End Counseling and Medication Services Programs.
Julie Buccarelli, APRN
Julie was formerly a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Sweetser located in Saco, Maine. She provided outpatient psychiatric services including counseling and pharmacological treatment for children and adults. She also provided consultations for children during crisis stays as well as children under the jurisdiction of Department of Health and Human Services.
Julie will be working with our Medication Services program.
Erika Hood, APRN
Erika was formerly a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Lawrence General Hospital. She completed several clinical preceptorships: Adult Psychiatric Services through Great Bay Mental Health Center and Integrated Health Center of Wentworth Douglas Affiliates in Dover, NH; Adult Drug and Alcohol Abuse Therapy through Addiction Recovery Services in Salem, NH; Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Outpatient Services through St. Mary’s Community Clinical Services as well as Child and Adolescent Inpatient Services through St. Mary’s Inpatient Behavioral Services for Children and Adolescents in Lewiston, ME.
Erika will serve as a Nurse Practitioner with our Community Support Services and Mobile Crisis Response Team.
Craig Iannotti, APRN
Craig was formerly a Registered Nurse at the Center for Life Management in Derry where he assisted in coordinating client care as well as administering and educating on prescribed long acting antipsychotic injections.
He will serve as Nurse Practitioner with our Assertive Community Treatment Team.
