Service Update: Video conferencing offered

The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester continues to offer our services in a number of different ways – in order to meet the needs of those we serve. While most services are currently provided via Telemedicine, in which clinicians conduct sessions over the telephone, we also continue to provide face to face services on a need basis. The Center is now offering an additional option for video conferencing sessions as well.

Telemedicine is a service delivery option for all patients of The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester (MHCGM), which allows clients to receive the support and services they need, while maintaining safety and social distancing – all from the comfort of their home.  MHCGM telemedicine options now include HIPPAA compliant telephone or video conferencing sessions.

With accessibility in mind, The Mental Health Center recently partnered with Doxy.me, a new simple alternative for maintaining therapeutic services. Both clinicians and patients find Doxy easy to use, and it is accessible from a desktop, tablet or smartphone.

Doxy can offer high definition video paired with excellent audio, without the need for a download, app or plug-in, and has been reported to enhance the patient experience.  Doxy.me is intuitive and in a recent study by Clemson University was rated the easiest telemedicine platform to use.

Be sure to ask about our telemedicine options when scheduling your next appointment.
