Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Awards Grant to MHCGM for Opioid Prevention and Recovery
Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare recently awarded 4 organizations up to $10,000 each in support of opioid prevention, treatment and recovery efforts in the Granite State. The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester was awarded a grant of $10,000 which will support efforts for The Center to create and distribute a series of high-quality, documentary style short films exploring the mental health and substance misuse challenges and recovery efforts of several different individuals in the community. The grant will enable The Mental Health Center to work toward de-stigmatizing behavioral health related issues thru the film project.
The program, funded by the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation, is providing grants to three other New Hampshire nonprofits in addition to The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester that serve residents dealing with opioid addiction with evidence-based prevention, treatment or recovery services.
