Carty to receive Good Samaritan Award

Dr. Calvin Genzel, President of Pastoral Counseling Services(PCS) recently announced that Patricia Carty, President and CEO of The Mental Center of Greater Manchester,  will be a recipient of their 2022 Good Samaritan Awards, which will be presented on September 22nd. PCS started the Good Samaritan Award Celebration in 1996 to recognize and honor generous, compassionate, and active people who are making significant contributions to the health and well-being of Manchester and surrounding communities.

Genzel said, “To date PCS has recognized over 110 Good Samaritans and this year we will be honoring another outstanding class of individuals.”

Honorees include:

Patricia Carty, the President and CEO of the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, is a long-time advocate of mental health treatment and supporter of programs that help those living with mental health issues.

Bobbie Bagley, the Director of Public Health and Community Services for the City of Nashua, is a leader in the development and support of programs that enhance public health and increase access to services.

Mark Mulcahy, the Team Leader of Keller Williams Realty Metropolitan, and Kay Mulcahy, a respected educator, are a community-minded couple who support many local organizations that enhance the quality of life in Manchester.

Elliot Perry and his parents, Carrie and BJ Perry, are extremely successful philanthropists and advocates for children with special needs.
