The Center partners with WZID for Awareness Month

May has been dedicated as a month in which we as citizens take the time to talk more in depth about mental illness and the commonality of it in our lives today. So many children and adults are affected by some form of mental illness and learning about the signs, risk factors and how to seek help could save a life.

Five members of The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester staff, taped an Eye on NH radio show with Marga Bessette, on subjects such as:

Stigma

Aging

Teen Concerns

Stress

Anxiety

We thank WZID and the staff for recognizing the importance of Mental Health Awareness and sharing critical information that helps others in our communities to accept situations and symptoms and take action for themselves or a loved one. Suicide Prevention is everyone’s job and we all need to prioritize mental health as we do our physical health – because Mental Health Matters!
