Volunteer Services
“We make a living by what we do, but we make a life by what we give”
Winston Churchill
The Volunteer Services Program offers interested individuals in our community the opportunity to assist persons who are coping with the challenges of mental illness move toward recovery as well as support The Center’s mission of creating a healthy community through group and individual service projects.
The Center proudly looks at its valuable volunteers as important team members. All volunteers are provided with training, education, supervision and recognition. The Volunteer Program offers flexible hours, short and long term opportunities, and a supportive friendly atmosphere.
In an effort to help support a healthy community, The Center has a strong commitment to providing group service projects to businesses, schools and service groups. These projects are typically ½ or full day projects that provide the participants with the opportunity to MAKE A DIFFERENCE and contribute to improving the quality of community mental health care. Past projects included painting, landscaping, and home maintenance of our residential facilities.
