The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester
presented its first annual Mental Health Symposium
on May 5, 2005, at the Wayfarer Inn and Conference Center in
Bedford NH. This exciting day long, professional development
conference provided education and information on current
trends, therapies, and issues impacting the integration of
behavioral health and primary care as well as the mind-body
connection.

The event featured nationally known Keynote
Speaker Dr. James Rouse. Dr. Rouse has extensive credentials
in the wellness field, including a doctorate degree in naturopathic
medicine, post-doctorate work in acupuncture & Chinese
medicine and a degree in transpersonal psychology. He is the
host of Optimum Wellness segments aired on NBC affiliate stations
in Atlanta, Denver and Phoenix. Dr. Rouse emphasizes the importance
of balance in life and teaches healthcare practitioners across
the country how to bring a holistic approach to their work.

physician assistants, educators, wellness and social work
