What is Mental Health First Aid?
Mental Health First Aid is an eight-hour certification training program which teaches participants how to react and respond with appropriate care in situations where someone is experiencing a mental health crisis.
Who Should Take the Course?
Individuals or community groups interested in building a broader knowledge of mental disorders and a willingness to help others. It is estimated that 1 in 5 adults in the United States are affected by mental illness in any given year.
