Bedford Counseling Associates
Bedford Counseling Associates offers private, confidential, short-term counseling services for people throughout northern New England. We feature an experienced, highly qualified staff of 30 full and part-time mental health professionals who offer a wide range of specialty services to help clients deal with issues such as: 
- Depression
- Relationship problems
- Anxiety/panic disorder
- Anger management
- Trauma/abuse (PTSD)
- Stress management
- Grief/loss
- Life transitions
- Attention deficit/hyperactive disorder (ADHD)
When there is a need to reduce symptoms to increase comfort and enhance the effectiveness of counseling services, we have medical staff that can prescribe appropriate psychiatric medications and monitor their use. These psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and psychiatric nurses make up a large and very important program called Medications Services, which is located right at Bedford Counseling Associates. They not only meet the medication needs of Bedford Counseling clients but they also provide follow-up care to clients from all our other programs who have completed their course of treatment but need to have certain medications continued.
We also have a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine on staff for those who wish to explore alternative natural approaches to recovery.
