Continuing Education
The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester provides Continuing Education opportunities for Mental Health professionals. Physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, practice managers, case managers, public health professionals, alcohol & drug counselors, social workers, psychologists, and mental health counselors around northern New England have found our trainings accessible and affordable.
Our offerings include trainings in Evidence-Based Practices for practitioners who work with people with serious mental illness, Ethics, and Cultural Competency, plus we hold psychiatric Grand Rounds and co-sponsor the annual NH Mental Health Symposium with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Trainings can last from one hour or up to four days.
The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is:
- Approved as a Provider of Continuing Education for Physicians by Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center;
- Approved as a Provider of Continuing Education in Nursing by the NH Nurses' Association;
- Member of the National Council of Community Behavioral Healthcare
Many trainings offer CMEs, CNEs, and CEUs from NH-NASW and BSAS.
