Families today live in a world that is very fast-paced and complex. As a result, parents and their children experience an unusual amount of stress. While the decision to seek help with a problem is not an easy one, it is often the best way to improve the quality of your family life.

We help families find new ways of dealing with a variety of problems that may include:

  • Academic or social problems at school
  • Relationship difficulties with parents, families, or peers
  • Fears, anxieties, or depression
  • Attention problems and hyperactivity
  • Problems with anger
  • Behavioral problems and hyperactivity
  • Substance abuse

Our approach is flexible, family centered and tailored to meet the needs of your child and family. We take into consideration all areas of your child's life including home, school, peer and family relationships, as well as review of all relevant medical issues by our child psychiatrist.

The recommended treatment may include individual, group or family counseling, and/or medication.

While some services are offered in our offices, many are more effectively provided at home or in other community settings. Our staff will work with the school, the medical community, and other agencies to help coordinate and facilitate the necessary services for your child.
