About Us

The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is a private non-profit community mental health center that, for the last 50 years, has provided mental health services to children, teenagers, adults and seniors from Manchester, NH and the surrounding towns of Bedford, Goffstown, New Boston, Hooksett, Auburn, Candia and Londonderry.

About Us

As a community mental health program designated by the NH Bureau of Behavioral Health, we provide a broad range of services including: therapy; medication; home and community based care; case management; and vocational services to people who are challenged with serious mental illnesses. We also provide 24/7 crisis response and suicide prevention to the community.

Another of The Center's programs, Bedford Counseling Associates (BCA), is designed for persons of all ages who require a short term counseling approach, and medication if necessary, for a range of conditions, such as stress, anxiety and depression, that have a disruptive impact on a person's quality of life.

Our staff of highly trained, licensed mental health professionals provides individualized care tailored to meet each person's needs. We are the largest provider of outpatient behavioral health services in the State of New Hampshire and are affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical School. We are viewed as a Center of Excellence in the field and have provided consultation and training to mental health programs in 33 states and 11 foreign countries.
