About Us

The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is a private non-profit community mental health center that has provided mental health services to children, teenagers, adults and seniors for more than 55 years. Our service area includes Bedford, Goffstown, New Boston, Hooksett, Auburn, Candia, Londonderry and Manchester, NH.

About Us

We provide a broad range of services including: therapy; medication services; home and community based care; case management; and vocational services for people who are challenged with serious mental illnesses. We also provide 24/7 crisis response and suicide prevention as needs arise in the community.

Bedford Counseling Associates (BCA), an affiliate group practice of MHCGM for more than 30 years, provides a short term counseling approach, and medication services if necessary, for a range of conditions that have a disruptive impact on a person's quality of life. BCA caters to all age groups from children to seniors.

Our staff of highly trained licensed mental health professionals, provide individualized care tailored to meet each person's needs. We are the largest provider of outpatient behavioral health services in the state and are affiliated with the Dartmouth Medical School. We are viewed as a Center of Excellence in the field and have provided consultation and training to mental health programs in 33 states and 11 foreign countries.

All client information is kept confidential within the limits allowed by law. We do not discriminate according to age, sex, sexual orientation, disability, race, religion or national origin. We provide meaningful access to our services for persons with limited English proficiency and hearing impairment.
